The M-DCPS Surplus Warehouse is a satellite of Stores and Mail Distribution (S&MD). The Surplus Warehouse currently stores property that is considered obsolete or surplus. All surplus property stored at the warehouse is later auctioned, recycled or used temporarily at other M-DCPS locations.

In addition, the Surplus Warehouse is utilized:

	to store surplus used textbooks
	to store new furniture and equipment for renovation projects and new schools under construction
	to conduct School Board auctions of surplus furniture, equipment and materials
	as a transfer point for relocating offices or District programs

The M-DCPS Surplus Warehouse is commonly referred to as “Richards Warehouse”. If you should have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Raimundo Delgado at 786-275-0600.
